Vintage Barbie Doll
Barbie has been the same size since her inception. However, there have been Super-size Barbie dolls which are the size of a small child. Ken is generally 12” tall, and Skipper (Barbies little sister) 10”.
Barbie has a had a few friends that were shorter, vintage Francie and Casey at 10.5” Vintage Barbie is highly collectible. The early clothing is also very valuable especially if it is a “complete” outfit in mint condition.
The most valuable pieces of any vintage outfit are the small pieces that were easily lost or thrown away. These is only a few suggestions and there are so many more possibilities for Modern Barbie collecting. Just decide on a unique theme around which your doll collection is based and go from there.
